During his seven years at the helm, the church planting network rebounded from the fallout around its co-founder Mark Driscoll and expanded from 300 mostly US churches to 800 around the world. WebSteve is the senior pastor of Hope Community Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which he started in 1996. Before planting Hope, Steve served on staff with the Navigators and was a junior high math teacher. He and his wife, Carole, have three sons. He's been a part of Acts 29 since 2007 and in leadership positions since 2011.
